memory lane

as most of you all know, many of the scrapbook pages i make, i send to my son jake, who is away at school. each week i send him some new ones and at least one old one. i love looking at the older ones because of all the awesome memories that come flooding back. it reminds me of why we do this whole scrapbooking thing.
so today i want to post some of my favorite older pages.

this one is my all time fave and probably always will be because it shows my son's personality. he lives out loud and it is one of the many things i love about him. i also loved these bam pop papers!

here is another using the bam pop papers and stamps. ( such a cool name, bam pop. i just love saying those words. lol!)

this one says, be careful out there my beloved son. and the the scripture that is up in the cloud is 1Peter 5:8 which says:
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith...

thanks so much for taking a walk with me down memory lane.

happy thursday!

  2. Aw, Julie, that is so cool that you send him a new page each week. I bet he really looks forward to your mail. These pages are so full of fun and energy and perfect for a teenage boy. Your new blog look is awesome! I love the layered birds on roses.
